This course is designed to prepare students with practical IT support skills and real MSP experience to secure internship placements confidently.
Theme : Understand the MSP Environment
● What is an MSP? Typical roles and workflow
● Ticketing systems overview (ConnectWise, Freshdesk)
● Windows 10/11 and Server OS installation
● Virtualization (VirtualBox or Hyper-V)
● Remote access tools (RDP, AnyDesk, TeamViewer)
Lab Tasks (Week 1) :
● Install Windows 10 & Server 2019 VMs
● Setup a basic network environment
Theme: Active Directory & Networking
Windows Server Configuration
● Active Directory: users, groups, OUs
● DNS, DHCP fundamentals
● GPO (Group Policy Object) basics
● Printer sharing and mapping
Lab Tasks (Week 2):
● Promote a server to domain controller
● Join Windows clients to domain
● Create GPO for desktop wallpaper, password policy
Theme: Cloud and SaaS Familiarity
● Microsoft 365 Admin Center walkthrough
● User management and license assignment
● OneDrive & Outlook support
● Ticket lifecycle: opening, resolving, documenting
● RMM tools overview (Atera, NinjaOne)
Lab Tasks (Week 3) :
● Create & manage M365 users
● Simulate a support ticket for mailbox or sync issues

● Customer communication and escalation
● Documenting processes and SOPs
● Mock support tickets & live simulations
Final Project (Week 4) :
● Resolve 5 common MSP support scenarios
(e.g., user can't login, printer offline, slow network)
● Intro to CompTIA A+ Concepts
● PowerShell basics for automation
● Resume, interview, and soft skill training
● Confidently support end users in Windows & Office 365
● Understand Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
● Manage tickets and remote sessions
● Be ready for real MSP internships or junior IT roles
