This internship offers students a valuable real-world opportunity to work in a fast-paced IT service environment. You'll join a professional team that supports diverse clients across Australia, gaining hands-on experience in IT operations, security, and client management.
Internship Duration:
12 Weeks – Part-time or full-time, flexible schedule based on student availability.
● Ticketing Systems
Use professional ticketing platforms (e.g., ConnectWise, Freshdesk) to manage incidents, service requests, and escalations. Learn ticket triage, note-taking, and resolution documentation.
● Client Interaction
Communicate with real clients over email, remote access, and phone under supervision. Learn how to gather information, troubleshoot politely, and escalate efficiently.
● Device & User Support
Perform desktop troubleshooting, printer setup, user account creation, email configuration, and Windows patching under supervision.
● Office 365 Administration
Assist with managing Microsoft 365 tenants, including mailbox troubleshooting, license allocation, and OneDrive/Teams issues.
● Cybersecurity Exposure
Shadow basic cybersecurity tasks such as endpoint security deployment, MFA setup, email filtering, and log review. Understand real-world risks and how they’re mitigated.
● Documentation & SOPs
Contribute to knowledge base entries, runbooks, and internal documentation used by support teams. Learn best practices in structured documentation.
● Team Collaboration
Attend team meetings, use internal chat tools (Teams, Slack), and participate in daily ticket reviews with senior engineers.
By the end of the internship, you’ll:
